The death messages "fell off a ladder", "fell off some vines" and others like that do not work at all.

How to reproduce:

1. Use a command to place a solid block at least 23 blocks above you.
2. Place a ladder on one of its sides.
3. Stand on top of it and switch to survival mode.
4. Make sure you don't take any damage before falling to your death, otherwise you will get the message "was doomed to fall."
5. Hang on the edge of the ladder then fall to your death.

What I expected to happen was:

"ManosSef fell off a ladder"

What actually happened was:

"ManosSef fell from a high place"
