      The bug

The stick in the tripwire hook model that attaches the metal ring to the support base does not attach to it symmetrically - it is offset to the side very slightly.

      How to reproduce

Simply inspect any tripwire hook state closely, especially from below.

      Expected results

      The connection would be symmetric.

      Actual results

      It is not.

      How to fix

I have attached a resource pack to this ticket which fixes this issue entirely. The coordinates used for this element of the model have been changed so that they start and end at integer positions. This makes the rod look slightly thicker, but eliminates the asymmetry. The texture mapping has also been slightly modified as to ensure that the pixels remain square.
