      I'm having a problem on newer versions of minecraft.

      When entering a new chunk (a chunk that I hadn't crossed yet) I have a fps drop that greatly disturbs my gameplay, also because every 16 blocks (chunk size) I have a fps drop.

      As I wrote at the beginning, this problem only happens in newer versions, in 1.8 I don't have this problem. As far as I know, in some update, the chunk generation mode was changed, maybe I only have this problem after this change in chunk generation.

      I saw another topic open about a similar problem, but in this case the problem happened when entering a specific chunk, but in my case it only happens in new chunks (If I enter a chunk for the second time I won't have any lag).

      Another detail I can provide is that this only happens in the singleplayer world, I tested it on hypixel and the game without any problems, I suppose this happens because the chunks have already been loaded on the server and not on the singleplayer world.

      After a few months without playing minecraft, I would like to play a survival again, but with this problem, I'm not very motivated, if you need more information, you can ask. I'll just leave some of the things I've tested below.

      • reinstall minecraft;
      • use mod "startlight";
      • some tips that support gave me like (DISM.exe /Online /Cleanup-image /Restorehealth and sfc /scannow);
      • This performance problem only happens in minecraft, I have heavier games and I run without any problems;
      • increased the ram minecraft uses, increased process priority
      • ...

      In the videos I attached, I'm using vsync to be more noticeable the fps drop

      Update: I added a video to demonstrate that the lag only happens in singleplayer worlds, I tested it on a server I created and had no lag problem (dont lag in servers.mp4)
