Players can use all stonecutting, campfire cooking, and smithing table recipes regardless of the value of the doLimitedCrafting gamerule.
To replicate:
Open a new creative world with cheats allowed.
Place down a stonecutter, smithing table, and campfire. Obtain cobblestone, diamond axe, netherite ingot, and raw beef from the creative menu. Run the following commands:
/gamerule doLimitedCrafting true
/recipe take @s minecraft:cobblestone_slab_from_cobblestone_stonecutting
/recipe take @s minecraft:netherite_axe_smithing
/recipe take @s minecraft:cooked_beef_from_campfire_cooking
After taking these steps, the player should not be able to craft cobblestone into cobblestone slabs at the stonecutter, smith the diamond axe into a netherite axe at the smithing table, or place the raw beef on the campfire.
The observed behavior is that the player is able to use all of these recipes.
