Camels bouncing on water

What I expected to happen was...:
Describe what you thought should happen here 

What actually happened was...:
When I rode the camel onto water it started bouncing and got higher and higher until I was kicked off

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Ride a camel into deep water (it still bounces if the water is only 1 block deep but not as much as it does in deep water)
