When you first load up a world in creative mode, you'll be able to pull a "decorated pot" with no patterns on it out of the creative inventory. However, if you then go on to craft a decorated pot using shards, the texture in both the creative inventory and any undecorated pot items in your hand will match the texture of the last decorated pot you created. This only applies to the item in your inventory - placing the pot down causes it to still show up as undecorated.

The texture issue seems to persist even if you unload and reload the world.

The first screenshot I attached is a pot I crafted, and the second is an undecorated pot I pulled from the creative inventory (you can tell because it has the creative tab index in its tooltip).
