When trying to figure out why I hit my data limit, I found that the javaw.exe file somehow managed to use up over 40gb of data in a single cycle, despite having under 15 hours of play that month. I then had to install java 8 manually to try to check the java cache viewer as directed by a support employee, but nothing showed up there either.

I cannot run minecraft if it is going to consume this much data, way more than any online game should be able to. It's as if it's constantly downloading something massive whenever minecraft is open!
