The Bug:
Tamed wolves don't assist their owners in fighting when entities are damaged by thrown tridents.
Tamed wolves assist their owners in fighting when entities are damaged by a bow and arrow, so one would expect tamed wolves to assist their owners in fighting when entities are damaged by thrown tridents.
Steps to Reproduce:
- Summon a wolf and tame it.
- Obtain a trident and summon a husk nearby.
- Attack the husk by throwing your trident at it, and observe the behavior of your husk for a while.
- Take note as to whether or not tamed wolves don't assist their owners in fighting when entities are damaged by thrown tridents.
Observed Behavior:
Tamed wolves don't assist their owners in fighting.
Expected Behavior:
Tamed wolves would assist their owners in fighting.
