Currently, there are "tab" selection elements in menus in the game: In the statistics screen, and in the world creation screen. However, they work slightly differently.

      Expected behaviour

The two tab selection elements in the world creation screen and the statistics screen work the same.

      Observed behaviour

The two tab selection elements work differently:

      • The world creation screen, tabs have dedicated textures and are on top of the screen. When clicking on a tab, it becomes visibly selected.
      • In the statistics screen, the tabs are below the statistics lists and represented by buttons. When clicking on a button, the selected tab is not disabled. This is because some tabs can actually be inaccessible, for example if you have not yet killed or been killed by anything. Instead, the button remains active and be clicked again. Because of MC-259387, the current tab remains highlighted until another element is clicked - there is no other indication for which tab is currently active, apart from the tab contents.

NOTE: This video is for an older version of this bug report for the initial version of the new tab modal in the world creation screen. Although these tabs in the world creation since have gotten their own textures, the issue of the two tab selection modals being different remains the same.
