The Bug:
Items from crafting recipes that yield more than one output item are thrown on the ground if the inventory is full when crafting them via shift-clicking.
This could be intentional but having the items unexpectdly be thrown on the ground doesn't seem right.
Steps to Reproduce:
- Place down a crafting table, switch into survival mode, and clear your inventory.
- Give yourself an almost full inventory of diamond blocks by using the command provided below.
/give @s minecraft:diamond_block 2240
- Give yourself half a stack of diamonds by using the command provided below.
/give @s minecraft:diamond 32
- Open the crafting table and place five diamond blocks into the crafting grid.
- Shift-click the output item.
- Take note as to whether or not items from crafting recipes that yield more than one output item are thrown on the ground if the inventory is full when crafting them via shift-clicking.
Observed Behavior:
Items are thrown on the ground.
Expected Behavior:
Items would not be thrown on the ground. Instead, the output item shouldn't be allowed to be shift-clicked.
