    • I have confirmed this to behave exactly like this on a fully vanilla build of Minecraft with no datapacks applied.

      I am running Windows 10 (64-bit) with 64-bit Java version 17.0.3.

      Chain supports for mineshafts can sometimes be split by another mineshaft platform and then have a loose chain above the second platform. Example seed and position:
      6491014798654190367 / 102 64 -91
