The Bug:

The "Hide messages" button in the social interactions menu can now no longer be toggled due to it being executed twice upon being pressed.

Steps to Reproduce:

• Join a multiplayer instance of Minecraft with other players online.
• Open up the social interactions menu, select any player within the list, and click on the "Hide messages" button.
• Take note as to whether or not the "Hide messages" button in the social interactions menu can now no longer be toggled due to it being executed twice upon being pressed.

Observed Behavior:

The "Hide messages" button can now no longer be toggled due to it being executed twice upon being pressed.

Expected Behavior:

The "Hide messages" button would only be executed once upon being pressed therefore allowing it to be toggled.
