I recently came back to play Minecraft, and decided to play on 1.8.9. Once launched the game looked as the picture provided. I spoke with staff, and I did all they told me, update windows, drivers, install previous versions of java, use older launcher, and nothing worked. After that I was recommended to report it as a bug.
