The Bug:

The string of text “The classic look of Minecraft” displayed within the resource pack selection is untranslatable.

Steps to Reproduce:

• Open Minecraft in the version stated.
• Set the language to something that is not English (Settings).
• Go to the resource pack selection menu.

→  The Programmer Art description “The classic look of Minecraft” is untranslated, regardless of the language selected.

Observed Behavior:

This string of text is untranslatable.

Expected Behavior:

This string of text would be translatable and has a translation key like resourcePack.programmer_art.description.

Notes:

• Attempt to search for the existence of this string by using this search filter on the official Minecraft project on Crowdin.
• Take note as to whether or not the string of text “The classic look of Minecraft” is untranslatable.
