Discovered while testing MC-256393.

The bug

When an end portal is lit, any blocks that exist within the frame are removed. However, instead of being broken like blocks usually are, they are outright deleted. This can result in undesirable loss of resources.

How to reproduce

1. Locate an incomplete end portal
2. Place up to nine blocks within the frame
3. Complete the end portal

Expected results

The blocks placed within the end portal frame would drop as items (and then be immediately teleported to the End).

Actual results

The blocks are wiped from existence.
