Every since 1.19.x update, minecraft crashes on launch.

1.18.x and previous versions still launch and work correctly, but any 1.19.x release crashes on startup 

launcher_log.txt and latest.log are attached.

The relevant part seems to be this:

[09:40:53] [Render thread/INFO]: [STDERR]: java.lang.NoClassDefFoundError: Could not initialize class com.mojang.blaze3d.systems.RenderSystem

Platform is Linux, EL8 (CentOS), latest Nvidia GPU driver. All other 3D games I tried work fine, so the driver seems sound.

Tried bundled java, OpenJDK Java 17 and Oracle's Java 17, they all error out the same way.
