Raiders do not pathfind properly when spawning on top slabs

      If you make a slab platform of, I think, any material and put a villager with a bed in a box (to attract raids), when the raid will spawn, all illagers, vindicator, pillager and ravagers will be AI-free . Some raiders can appear with an AI but it's a minority. Ravager will spawn without IA but if he is ridden by a pillager, he will have an IA.

      They take an AI if they go on a full blocks. They will move towards the full block naturally if they are close or by pushing them towards the area. Even if they take an AI, if the leader has no AI, nothing will happen but if you kill the leader, all the raiders will start attacking you .

      (on the pictures, birch block are slab blocks and stone block are full blocks)

      1. Create a slab plateform in position top
      2. Put a villager in a box with a bed
      3. Have the effect bad omen 
      4. Wait for the spawning of the raiders
