I had a map, created a copy and placed the copy on an item frame. I then removed the map from the frame. I soon noticed that the map still had a green arrow, showing there still exists a framed map on that location.

Removing the map normally from the item frame (by left clicking on it) does not remove the arrow from the map, but using TNT to blow up the item frame with the map does seem to remove the green arrow.

I first noticed this problem in 1.19.2. I then tested 1.19, which gave the same results. However, 1.18 does not seem to have this problem. I attached some demonstrative images.
