When trying lo link a portal in the new overworld height limits it simply not links and creates another portal into the limits of the old world height

What I expected to happen was...:
To the nether portals to link each other correctly

What actually happened was...:
The nether portals does not link and creates another ones instead

Steps to Reproduce:

1.-Make a nether portal on the new world height, personally I use Y=166

2.-Go to the nether using another portal and make a nether portal in the correct coordinate to link it with the one created on the overworld

3.-Go into that portal and it creates a new nether portal in the overworld using near coordinates but into the overworld old height limits
