When multiple Allays are spawned in creative mode, they begin to despawn over time during regular gameplay even when named and given an item. When /kill @player is used, all Allays despawn. Unsure if this only applies to creative mode, but so far it is the only mode I have noticed it in as I have not come across them in survival yet. EDIT: I also have not yet tested this with a lead.
What I expected to happen was...:
Allays that have been given a name tag and item will not despawn, even when multiple Allays are present.
What actually happened was...:
Allays are either despawning or getting stuck somewhere I haven't found yet, even when named and given items. This only seems to happen when a larger number are spawned, and typically 3-5 (usually on the lower end of this range) will remain after the others despawn. If the player dies, all Allays either despawn or (as stated above) get stuck somewhere I haven't yet found.
Steps to Reproduce:
1. Spawn an Allay in creative mode
2. Name Allay
3. Give Allay item
4. Repeat steps 1-3 at least 6 times until desired number of Allays is reached
5. Play game as usual for a while - they will slowly start to despawn until 3-5 remain
6. If player dies using /kill @player, all Allays despawn
