Among the recent changes to Minecraft 1.19.1, literal company-level censorship was announced. From now on, Minecraft is no longer going to be a free game where people make their own little societies and subcultures. Since 1.19.1, players can report other players for their words in the chat, and those players can be banned from ALL multiplayer, including the servers whose owners have nothing against what this player is saying.
This is obviously a bug, it cannot be intended to be this way. The report system was apparently intended to send reports to server owners for them to decide themselves whether they want to ban the player on THEIR server or not. If Mojang directors are not insane, at least.
The bug needs to be fixed as soon as possible, or otherwise a wave of bans of full-price licensed accounts will follow. It will also mean a rise of use of pirated copies of the game, which will do bad for game's revenue.
Thank you for your attention.
