Minecraft Java edition has a big disadvantage than bedrock edition, the performance. All these years we just had to use performance mods like optifine, and many more mods have come like Sodium (btw if you are not aware, literally everyone always uses optifine). For you guys rocking gaming computers will not see a difference, but for normal people, it is a huge difference. So why do we still keep using these mods after all these years? One think to note that I just upgraded to 1.19, and surprisingly, the game stutters way less, and maybe uses less memory. BUT, I tried this version without the optifine mod. So MAYBE this stuttering issue was fixed earlier, but because of optifine MAYBE it was stuttering, I don't know, but the less memory is obviously because not using optifine. So at least the stutter problem is fixed, but one big problem Minecraft Java edition still has is framerate issues. The game fails to use the GPU efficiently, hence the low GPU usage, and over all just lower frames. This is the only major performance problem that everybody faces Mojang, yes everybody. One more problem I suggest fixing is that there is a lot more aliasing in the graphics, and this mostly fixed in optifine, without even using Anti-aliasing.
