I tried testing out how to update my Magma Cube farm in the nether to turn it into a froglight farm. I came across one issue.

Frogs are spitting out Magma Cream instead of Froglights. I've tested this mechanic in creative only. Affecting all dimensions. There's no other way for the magma cubes to die, other than the large and medium sized ones by having powdered snow one block above the frogs - which don't kill the small magma cubes. 

Image attached after 3 frogs ate 8-10 small magma cubes. They aren't dropping every time either.
