OpenJDK Platform Binary permanently consumes 100% CPU. I've tried setting priority, affinity, selecting between Nvidia and Intel, allocating more or less RAM, but no improvement.

Let me put this into perspective:

On Windows 10, I get 1 or 0 frames per second all the time with 2 render distance and all settings turned low.

On Linux, I can keep all settings up, and play on 8 chunks render distance with a stable 60 frames per second, even over 100 fps with Vsync turned off.

I don't know if it is a specific version of Java causing this or what, but I can only play Minecraft on Linux at the moment.

Just to avoid confusion, I dual boot Windows and Linux. So all this is happening on the same laptop.
