Important
The Bug:
The minecraft:item.armor.equip_generic sound is produced and can only be heard by other players when switching items between hands.
This issue was not present in 1.18.2 or 22w19a.
Steps to Reproduce:
- Get two players and label them "Player A" and "Player B".
- Have both players stand close to one another.
- Get "Player A" to obtain and hold any item in their hand, for example, a dirt block.
- Get "Player A" to swap the item into their offhand by using the "Swap Item With Offhand" button.
- Get both players to listen closely as "Player A" does this.
- Take note as to whether or not the minecraft:item.armor.equip_generic sound is produced and can only be heard by other players when switching items between hands.
Observed Behavior:
The minecraft:item.armor.equip_generic sound is produced and can only be heard by other players when switching items between hands.
Expected Behavior:
The sound would not be produced at all for any players, just like in 22w19a.
