The large (filename is "medium" I think) plains-village house basically never spawns. The one that is fairly large, with a bed and table, like the old 1.8  and earlier large houses. I used to see it a long time ago in snaphots but I've looked at hundreds of plains villages and haven't seen one in a very long time.  I think the village generation needs to be rebalanced.  The blacksmith used to be more common also.
