Since the release of Mac OS Big Sur and Mac OS Monterey, I notice that turning VSync off in Minecraft no longer has screen tearing, but there is a issue when played on high resolution and super high frame rate that the fps meter does not match the actual frame rate. For example, you are running the game on 2560x1600, your fps meter says 35 fps, but you are seeing that it is actually running like 10 fps even though it says 35 fps. This is due to the game making the system lag causing the game to not recognize the rate frame rate. This is now an issue on any version of the game because these two new operating systems change how the GPU is regulated due to the new ARM platform format. Please optimize the game for these two new operating systems so that way the frame rate can match the frame rate meter.
