Upon starting the game (exclusively on 1.18 or newer), the process uses 100% of the CPU and causes severe stuttering to all other processes for a few seconds, on a 5900x, which happens on both modified and unmodified launchers/ clients and does not at all on any game versions before 1.18, except maybe snapshots.
