In 1.18.1-pre1, the fog was changed to have a cylindrical shape. However, entities still appear to fade away from the player spherically.
- Find any entity/entities.
- Position yourself so the entities are by the edge of the fog cylinder (you may want to lower your render distance to make it easier).
The fog consumes the entities before the environment.
The entities and environment would be affected by the fog all the same.
