I renewed my realm as of yesterday and I can not join my realm once so ever. I keep getting the same error " Internal Exception: java.net.SocketException: Connection reset" I have done everything possible, I have uninstalled Minecraft and re-installed it. I have uninstalled java 4 times! I have even followed the instructions found at MC-227913

I have tried watching youtube tutorials, I have contacted Minecraft support, but they just told me to report it here if I cant fix it. I have enabled it in my firewall, though in the link provided it says to (Direct Copy Paste from steps)

      1. If you do not find that entry, click Change Settings, then click Allow another app...
      2. Click Browse, then navigate to:
        C:\Program Files (x86)\Minecraft\runtime\java-runtime-alpha\windows-x64\java-runtime-alpha\bin\javaw.exe

        and click Open, then Add.

I went to do that myself and C:\Program Files (x86)\Minecraft\runtime\java-runtime-alpha\windows-x64\java-runtime-alpha\bin\javaw.exe is not found on my computer. If I use the .run command on my computer, search %appdata% and my .minecraft folder are there like normal. I just can't understand what the issue is other than it could just be the new version and launcher. Prior to this, like back in august. My Minecraft would work flawlessly. I can provide recent logs and a clip showcasing my troubles. https://youtu.be/CuzsUiaL0Qg

The youtube link showcases my unlisted clip of the problem. Whilst recording It suddenly showed an error message I have never seen prior to recording. I have no idea what it means. All I wanted was to play Minecraft, now I'm stuck with this issue I can't resolve on my own. Are there any fixes out there? I have become extremely tired and annoyed with all this. I have seen other people comment on the current bug forum that it did not fix their issue.

      (UPDATE 11/27/21)

I have reached out to a Minecraft Support Team Member and they told me to walk through some steps to try to help, The same steps were found In the other Bug report I linked the first time, though I will copy the steps this time.

I apologize but it currently is a known issue.

Unfortunately, this appears to be a connection issue on the player side.
To start, we suggest checking our connection issues FAQ.

If you are receiving a socket.exception issue or connection issues with Multiplayer please try these steps as many have reported success in fixing this issue using these guidelines:

      • Make sure the OpenJDK16 is allowed through the Windows Firewall:
      1. Press the Windows Key and type “Firewall”
      2. Click on “Allow an app through the Windows Firewall”
      3. In the new window press “O” on your keyboard and look for “OpenJDK Platform Binary.”
      4. If you find it, make sure both the checkbox on the left, as well as both checkboxes on the right, are checked.
      5. Click OK and try Minecraft again,
      6. If you do not find that entry click Change Settings, then click Allow another app...
      7. Click Browse, then navigate to: C:\Program Files (x86)\Minecraft\runtime\java-runtime-alpha\windows-x64\java-runtime-alpha\bin\javaw.exe and click Open, then Add.
      8. Click Ok and try Minecraft again. * Try disabling all VPNs, Hamachi, Antiviruses, and firewalls (Especially third-party firewalls)
      • Please try using another connection, such as mobile data via wireless hotspot or USB tethering.

Problem Is, When I reached step 7 and searched for the file path above, I was led to an error saying it does not exist. I have attached a photo called "Firewall JDK Error.png" Once I showed them the error message, they told me to update this bug forum. And was kind enough to offer me a refund on my realm since I am not capable of playing it at the moment due to this issue.

      (To Support any possible questions)

      • I have Uninstalled Hamachi from my device prior to the event happening.
      • I have not had ANY client-sided internet connection problems since I have built this rig. Only when the power has gone out or Xfinity has to fix their connections in the local area.
      • I am hardwired via ethernet cable.
      • I have gigabit internet.
      • No Hardware issues with my computer to date.

(New Problem Rises with New Launcher)

During this entire problem, When opening the launcher I am greeted to the Xbox loading box, though upon the launch I am sometimes greeted with the error code 0x87DD0005. After I retry it typically logs me into the launcher, sometimes after I retry, after closing the launcher and re-opening it, It logs me in first try no problem, It is very weird, to say the least. From what I read this is a connection error code, Though it makes no sense because the normal Xbox app on my computer always opens up the first shot and never has a connection error while using it. This leads me to believe that this is caused by the launcher and not my connection, due to the fact this is the only application that struggles to have any connection. Another thing I want to address is that Minecraft works just fine when playing singleplayer, The game boots up quickly, and runs as smoothly as it should, It when I try using realms or multiplayer is when the game starts to give me the connection error.
