Azalea trees doesn't replace the exposed surface layer of blocks with rooted dirt

      The Bug

      Azalea trees used to be able to spawn rooted dirt on the surface, but now it's all below ground.

      It appears rooted dirt now spawns only two blocks below the lowest log of the tree, with the exception for the rooted dirt block right below the log. As you can see if the tree is on a sloped surface, the lower regions of the slope two blocks below the lowest log spawns rooted dirt as intended.

      Reproduce

      • Do /locatebiome lush_caves
      • Look for the azalea tree

      Observed Result

      No rooted dirt was on the top layer

      Expected Result

      Rooted Dirt would be on the top layer like before
