I went to update my Minecraft Server. I downloaded the server file from Mojang (server.jar). I then completely removed Java and put on the latest version (1.8.0_311). I
Double clicking the file I get a "JNI error" and "A Java exception has occurred."
I looked at this site: https://piunikaweb.com/2021/07/16/minecraft-jni-error-java-exception-1-17-update/ which is from a few months ago, with the same errors, but that was supposed to be people using an OLD version of Jira. Those recommendations say to update to 1.16 OR ABOVE. As this is the latest, I assume this is some incompatibility with the server file.
I also tried launching the file in a command window.
Steps to Reproduce:
Put in a current Java install
Download your minecraft java server file
Try to get it to work.
Observed Results:
It doesn't unpack the files into my server folder, or any other folder.
Expected Results:
It should work.
