Odd Water Physics
Water acts abnormally strange when in specific conditions; whether that be beside blocks or above them. This bug was tested on an official and modified (Lunar Client 1.17.1) version, creative mode and super flat world preset.
Steps to Reproduce:
There are different variations to this bug:
Using Powder Snow:
- Break a block below you and go inside the hole created.
- Place powder snow in the hole.
- Place powder snow above this powder snow. (simply right-click)
- Place water above this powder snow. (simply right-click)
- The water should replace the powder snow blocks, allowing you to swim out and observe the results.
Using Any 'Basic' Block (e.g., Stone):
- Break a block below you.
- Place 2 of your desired blocks beside the hole, towered on top of each other.
- Place water on the upmost block.
- Break the 2 blocks you chose, and observe the results.
Observed Results:
For the first method, the water beside the hole does not flow.
For the second method, it is a similar observation, however, water does not flow in the position of the 2 blocks.
Expected Results:
Water should flow normally, as proven after a few water source blocks are placed near or beside it.
