I play Minecraft Java Edition that I've purchased along time ago, (like almost 10 years ago), and I also connected my Microsoft account to it as well.
I play on a Lenovo pc laptop and with fairly average internet.

So I wanted to play some Minecraft today and saw that there was a new launcher for it and I decided to install the first problem was that, "Could not update Native Launcher" and I didn't know how to fix this. Later on though I figured it out but then I came across a new problem. When I loaded the launcher up and logged into my Microsoft account that I connected to java edition a few months back. The problem was that it said I didn't own Minecraft java at all and I did clearly since I wouldn't be here. But yea it says I don't have the game and it says I can play the demo only. Oh and this is problem the reason for the problem but I want to make sure of all the possibilities but at the bottom of the screen it says, "Oh no! Something went wrong, and we couldn't connect to the Minecraft services." So common sense tells me to wait because of this notice but you can't be too sure right? So my purpose is to clearly ask if this doesn't matter and I have to wait it out so the problem can fix itself or I have to ask tech support for help?
