**I was setting up a server for some friends, and I went into the nether. I flew up to the ceiling in spectator mode, and expected a bedrock ceiling.
The bedrock ceiling was gone, replaced with normal nether biome generation exceeding 128 blocks. The floor had a similar story, except did not go below y=0.
