Updating vines with all directions set to false from versions before 17w47a (1.13 snapshot) break upon loading in that version and further. This issue still persists in recent version.

      Steps to reproduce:
      1. Load a world in 1.12.2
      2. Execute command /setblock ~ ~ ~ vine
      3. Update the world to 17w47a or further (except versions affected by MC-239856, explanation in comment)

      Expected result:

      • vine does not break

      Observed result:

      • vine breaks
