The Bug:
Badlands mineshaft generation can extend to other biomes, causing jarring surface cuts.
Badlands mineshaft generation is unique: it uses a different wood and cuts more towards the surface than other mineshafts. However, it can extend to other biomes such as plains, and it looks quite jarring.
Here is an example:
Seed: -3557984241231373185 Coordinates: /execute in minecraft:overworld run tp @s -109.25 77.90 136.41 4.05 58.05
Steps to Reproduce:
- Generate a world with the seed provided above and teleport to the given coordinates.
- Look closely at the badlands mineshaft generation.
- Take note as to whether or not badlands mineshaft generation can extend to other biomes, causing jarring surface cuts.
Observed Behavior:
Badlands mineshaft generation can extend to other biomes, causing jarring surface cuts.
Expected Behavior:
Badlands mineshaft generation would not be able to extend to other biomes.
