Was in a shipwreck for a while, and a wandering trader that had been around somehow moved into the ocean over my spot and then floated on the surface there...the other llama got stuck in a boat that I had nearby (which is fine).  However, as you can see from the attachment, the trader was at least 20 blocks above any solid blocks.
