      The Bug:

The chat delay function continues to print messages despite the game being paused.

Without the chat delay accessibility setting enabled, if you were to enter something in chat and then pause your game, your message would stay as it is and not change until you unpause your game. This same idea doesn't apply to how the chat delay setting works.

      Steps to Reproduce:

      1. Navigate to your accessibility settings and ensure that chat delay is enabled.
      2. Enter a singleplayer world and type around ten messages in chat.
      3. Press the ESC key to pause the game and watch the chat closely.
      4. Take note as to whether or not the chat delay function continues to print messages despite the game being paused.

      Observed Behavior:

The chat delay function continues to print messages despite the game being paused.

      Expected Behavior:

The chat delay function would not continue to print messages as the game has been paused.
