8 snow layers (one block) are lower than a full block

      I was watching a "the longest stairs in Minecraft" video and someone said one snow layer is 0.128th of a block (which is totally wrong lol) so I proved him wrong and started messing with snow layers. I made stairs out of them just to see what would happen but then I put 8 layers of snow and the cords showed 0.875 (a full block will be 1) so 8 layers are not a full block wich is weird because the hit box shows it is
