Hello all,
For some reason I cannot select multiplayer options on my Minecraft PE on my iPhone. At all. Ever. I can find friends but am not allowed to join them for multiplayer games even when they are on the same wifi and cellular data is on, and the network has been thoroughly checked with pings etc. No firewalls. No VPNs. In the main menu Settings menu the multiplayer option is completely grayed out. Also I cannot broadcast my game to LAN because this option is also completely grayed out. Why? I know, I know, it's a form of torture. Or a Buddhist test. Just let go. Anyway, this is my last attempt at getting this to work so I can play with my kid before I demand my money back. (I know: fat chance!) The kids are having a great time anyway, but would like me to play with them. They can sit right next to me, one playing on an Amazon Firepad, the other on an iPad, and me, on my iPhone 12 Pro, am left out. After multiple re-installs, after pulling my hair out looking at youtube videos that do not help! It is deeply frustrating since Minecraft java on my macbook does work, mostly, and the new iOS version on my phone is a total turkey. I have come to the conclusion that this software does not work on my device. Maybe I'm wrong. I'm not an engineer but maybe a degree in engineering, computer programming and esoteric black magic is required to make this game work on my iPhone? Any help is appreciated! Thanks
