I am playing on a recently created 1.17 (for some reason it did not let me select 1.17 in the affected versions) survival vanilla world and I got villagers yesterday. I did not have any crashes prior to this and Minecraft does not crash for me at any other time.

This does not happen with my farmer villagers and seems to only happen when I am trading with my cartographers. If I want to join back into the world, I have to close the world (which takes around 5-8 minutes when it should take less than 10 seconds). Sometimes I need to use task manager to close Minecraft because it takes too long to save the world and I lose progress of around 10-15 minutes.

How to recreate: Trade glass panes to the cartographer until stock runs out with at least 2+ villagers on a single player world with difficulty set to hard. No cheats or any add ons.

Im not sure why this happens but I'll need to get rid of my cartographers until this is fixed, which sucks because i was making profits off of glass :[
