this is likely due to mobs being coded to drop cooked versions of a food item when dying to fire

how to reproduce

Spawn a Zombie (Excluding Ziglins and Drowned)(Preferred to be a husk)

use the command /give @p netherite_sword{Enchantments:[

,{id:knockback,lvl:10},{id:fire_aspect,lvl:1},{id:looting,lvl:255},{id:sweeping,lvl:255},{id:unbreaking,lvl:255},{id:mending,lvl:1}]} 1

if you kill them enough times and see a potato it will be baked!
