This effects 1.17 but the site only let me choose 1.17.1 and I haven't tested it on 1.17.1 yet

I was trying to move an elder guardian to my base, for the how did we get here advancement, so I started making a rail and I entered it. To test it and I realized that after I passed the part where I put powered rails(I hadn't finished yet) my momentum kept on going. So then I put down the minecart without entering and it stopped after the part with the powered rails. so I went to check it in creative and it turned out that this also happened with minecart hoppers and minecart chest.

Steps to recreate
1.make a long rail(about 70 blocks so it's obvious)

2.place powered rails near the beginning

3.push a minecart onto the powered rails and mark where it stops

4.either push a Minecart chest or a minecart hopper onto the powered rails or push a minecart into an entity and when it enters the minecart push it on the powered rail

5.the minecart with the entity or minecart hopper or minecart chest reaches the end of the rail where as the empty minecart reaches about twelve blocks
