      Even with enough light and water, sometimes seeds dont place. Im pretty sure I found out what's causing it and how to recreate it.

       

      Steps to recreate:

      -Create New world

      -destroy any block that has another block underneath it.

      -make sure that the block underneath the block you just destroyed is dirt/grass/anything tillable

      -its its not tillable, replace it with something tillable

      -now, no matter how much water or light the block is getting, you cant place seeds/potatos/carrots/etc on it.

      -You can recreate this bug in large quantities too

      -for example, if you destroyed a mountain to make a farm there, it wont work because there used to be blocks on top of the dirt so you cant even place seeds there

       

      -I haven't seen anyone else notice this bug,  despite the annoyance it causes

      -if this is a personal issue, then sorry for wasting your times
