After playing minecraft on my friend's realm for a few seconds/minutes, I get disconnected with the following error: Java.net.socketException: Connection reset.

When joining my friend's realm, I can play for around 5-10 minutes with no issues before I'm disconnected with the above mentioned error messages. After that, rejoining the realm again results in me being able to play for up to 5-7 seconds before being disconnected with the same error message.

This problem is not present on minecraft multiplayer servers! Only on this one realm.
Another note, my other friends have been playing on this realm with no issues whatsoever.
I've been the only one experiencing this issue.

-I tried installing java 16, reinstalling minecraft (deleting the .minecraft folder), disabling my windows firewall, malwarebytes and avast, restarting my router and pc multiple times, disabling my router firewall (was initially already disabled).

I tried everything from this list here: MC-227913

I also went over the official faq found here: https://help.minecraft.net/hc/en-us/sections/360004954931-Minecraft-Realms and over the troubleshooting guide found here: https://help.minecraft.net/hc/en-us/articles/360055710592-Minecraft-Realms-and-Multiplayer-Troubleshooting

strongly believe that this is bug since multiple users started reporting the same exact issue on reddit (r/minecrafthelp) and here as a bug (where their issues have been immediately closed being labeled as a 'technical issue' and 'not a bug') with no fix to be found anywhere online. This **only started happening as of Minecraft Java 1.17.

I've contacted Mojang support and after a few messages back and forth, they replied that I should open a ticket here and that my issue has been forwarded to the "internal team" for further investigation. I am now creating this issue in hopes that it actually starts being labeled as one and not "technical issue".
