Rarely, when I type the letter 'a' whilst writing a text (chat, commands, signs, name tags etc - anything that the player writes manually), it can reset the entire sentence so it just says that letter on its own.
For example:
"/give @s ench" turns to "anted-" when I type the "a" of "/give @s enchanted-".
"Misty's Base" turns to "ase" when I type the "a".
"The Hungry Caterpillar" turns to "ar". Having two "a"s cancels out any previous "a"s.
The bug seems to be resolved upon resetting the minecraft app entirely. Though it affects Java Edition, I used to be a Bedrock (windows 10) player, and the issue is present on there as well. Please note that this does not happen very often. This bug has only occurred once whilst I played Java, and twice whilst on Bedrock. I have been playing for about a year on Java, and about four on Bedrock. It is only an issue I bothered to report at all because going through the process of relaunching the game is tedious for a little bug like this; I can't write something with an a in it. This issue was reported in 2020, but the two comments did not apply to the problem, I was not pressing the ctrl key and I am not on a macbook (windows 10 pc).
Unfortunately I cannot attach any footage because I only reported this after the bug occurred, and as this is a rare bug I am unlikely to see it that often.
I love Minecraft and every update since I was introduced, please keep up the amazing work up, and thank you! Hope you have a wonderful day,
