This issue seems similar to MC-227945, but it causes it to hang and crash after starting up and it's slightly different stating:

Input does not contain a key [type]: MapLike[\{config:{},name:"minecraft:no_op"}]

      Where other's error states:

      No key size in MapLike[\{extra_size:2,min_size:1,type:"minecraft:column_placer"}]

It does this AFTER world spawning is complete.  Then the first tick lasts over 60 seconds till it kills itself.  My server is vanilla.  If I let it regenerate the overworld (the nether and end don't seem to cause the issue) from scratch instead of using the world from 1.16, it works fine, even using the same seed.  It might be worth a note that my world started out as a 1.15 world and was upgraded to 1.16.  I've attached the log
