Many people have had this issue and reported it, but staff here keep redirecting them to Technical Support which has no information on the issue whatsoever. Exit Code 0, which apparently translates to "launcher closed successfully".

Personally I've had this issue for several months, and despite extensive searches for a resolution, the only two options I found were to reinstall from scratch - which didn't work - and to manually update Java - which also didn't work, only changed the resulting error from launcher loading near to the end and freezing, to just never loading at all, displaying only a blank window.

Some people claimed you just have to wait until the next major update and it would fix itself. Well, 1.7 is here, and still no fix.

Please, PLEASE stop ignoring this extremely common issue preventing your customers from playing the game they purchased. Give us a resolution.
