I’m not very great with computers but I know my fair share I suppose. I have a Dell laptop with Windows 8 I believe (not sure.) I was playing last night and everything was fine but a little laggy. I tried to play earlier today and the launcher wouldn’t open. After that I just decided to do an entire update on my laptop and restart it because it’s been awhile. Due to that, my Minecraft installer was deleted and I would have to download it again. I went online and redownloaded the java version as well as my java. The launcher was fine and had no issues until the red Mojang screen came up and was cut off after the “MOJ” of Mojang and the “STUI” of studios. I waited and thought it may have just not loaded correctly until the menu screen popped up and the text for java edition basically took up the entire screen in big letters and was glitching. After seeing this I was a little scared I may have downloaded Minecraft from a website trying to seem like the official one but double checked and it was the official Minecraft site. I’ve tried almost everything I could possibly think of, troubleshooting, redownloading, giving it a few hours to maybe go away and nothing has worked. I’m not sure what to do and would really like to figure this out soon because I really enjoy playing this game. Thanks
